The first five entries on each page ask you to use your senses to observe and interact with nature.

The next entry asks you to pick one thing you appreciate about your environment. For example, you might appreciate the warm sunshine or the cheerful color of a flower.

The last section is different each day. It will give you ideas for interacting with nature in lots of different ways. You might be asked to find some water and look for reflections in it or to listen for birdsong.

Think of up to three different places you can be around nature this week. A park, backyard, or quiet area of campus were there is a tree are all great choices. Spend 5 minutes there, focusing on what you can smell and hear.
