Ponyrazzi showcases my photography in a website designed for a fictitious group of photographers who specialize in photographing horses and mentoring up-and-coming equine photographers. A blog is a key piece of the site since it supports and promotes the group's mentoring services. The name Ponyrazzi was chosen to based on the way these photographers are always around horses; the concept is emblemized through a horse surrounded by a horseshoe shaped arch of lights. A color scheme of purple softened with beige and hints of green is both luxurious and earthy to attract a contemporary audience dedicated to a traditional sport.
A horsewoman who shows in dressage and jumping classes. She travels almost constantly with her horse Max to get to shows and to go back and forth between college, where she is able to board Max, and her home, where Max stays in her backyard during the summer. As fun and crazy as these years are, she knows they won't last forever, so she wants photos for the memories.
A dad who wants photos of his daughter Mandy, who is 10 and just started taking lessons at a local barn. Matt is a manager at a financial firm these days, but he used to ride horses weekly and worked as a stable hand as a young man. He's excited to get his daughter started in the sport, and wants photos to capture their shared love of horses. Getting their Retriever in the photos would be a bonus.
A wanna be equine photographer living in Chicago. She has a knack with the camera but has only been around horses once or twice. She is glad to put in the hours to practice, but she is looking for someone experienced to give her some tips to speed her path to success.
